What does dissociation feel like?

Dissociation is a habit that makes you feel regularly zoned out, empty, or depressed. More severe forms of dissociation can progress towards depersonalisation and derealisation, and significantly decrease the quality of your focus and span of attention.

Due to a disconnection between your present-moment awareness and your physical being, you might feel emotionally numb and uncertain about your goals and decisions.
